Otto takes pride in his ability to steal worms from unsuspecting fishermen’s lines without getting caught. When three children set out in their boat, ignoring their grandmother’s warnings, Otto decides to have a bit of fun. But when the children become lost and stranded, Otto decides he must lend a fin.

Do you know someone who likes to tease? Have you or someone you know been the object of teasing? Then this is the book for you!

Otto enjoys teasing others, thinking it is harmless fun. But one day when it goes too far, and three children become lost on a large lake, he realizes that he must help them to get home.

In their excitement to take the boat out on the lake, the children fail to heed their grandmother’s warning. As they follow the taunting fish farther and farther away from home, they become lost. To make matters worse, they run out of gas and are stranded as a thunderstorm approaches.

This story teaches problem solving skills as the children must find a way to row the boat home. It also demonstrates the harm that can come from teasing others and emphasizes that it is more rewarding to be kind to others instead.

"A sweetly illustrated picture book with a strong 'help out' message. Perfect for nature-loving, young adventurers." - The Wishing Shelf
