CODY PARKER AND THE METEORITE is a middle grade science fiction novel about a 12-year-old mathlete named Cody Parker who has had a difficult time fitting in and making friends at the aptly named “Camp Adventure.” Things change when he decides to step out of his comfort zone and join a few fellow campers for an unscheduled hike to find the impact crater for a meteorite they saw. What they find when they arrive at the site is a pair of juvenile aliens who have crashed their parents’ spaceship while joy riding. Throughout the adventure Cody will use his knowledge of mathematics and science to help his new friends return home.
